This year I wanted to try and learn how to design patterns on my own which has been really tricky (who am I kidding... totally frustrating at times) but I'm tentatively getting the hang of it. Sorry the pics are so small, for some reason blogger cuts pics that are larger than 500px.

Lots of ideas running through my head like making wrapping paper, large scale posters, prints and other things but my thoughts have been leaning towards tinkering with my new Gocco... more about that soon. :}

This is a must-have book in my... book!

Commercial design of Japan is an absolute joy to flick through on those rainy uninspiring days. Not that I'm complaining. Bring it on mother nature, our farmers need it especially!
